Ithaca, N.Y. – Danny Jutras and Liam Concannon represented the Stevens Institute of Technology men's track & field team at the AARTFC Indoor Regional Championship on Saturday.
 
The Ducks finished 34th overall, earning four team points. Rowan claimed the team title with 94 points, while SUNY Geneseo finished second with 70.
 
HOW IT HAPPENED
Jutras finished in a dead heat for 16th place, with just milliseconds separating him and Peter Strubler of St. Lawrence. Jutras crossed the finish line in 1:57.557, narrowly edging Strubler, who finished in 1:57.559. A mere 0.50 seconds separated Jutras from 13th place, with Ben Buffone of Ithaca setting a meet record with a time of 1:52.45.
 
Concannon placed 15th in the 3,000-meter, finishing in 8:52.03 and holding off Micah McCulley of Geneseo, who took 16th in 8:52.9. Pierre Young of Geneseo won the event in 8:23.51, besting teammate Anson Butler, who finished second in 8:28.66.
