BETHLEHEM, Pa / CHESTER, Pa. – Lauren Alley lowered her fastest 400-meter hurdles time of the season by nearly two full seconds, winning the event Friday as part of a full day of action for the Stevens Institute of Technology women's track team Friday at both the Coach Pollard Invitational and Paul Donahue Invitational.

No team score was recorded at either event as Stevens competed against more than a dozen schools from around the Northeast at the Coach P (including Division I member Lehigh and fellow Garden State institutions Drew, Montclair State, Ramapo, and TCNJ) and more than three dozen schools at the Donahue, including D-1's Drexel, La Salle, NJIT, Penn, St. Joseph's, and Temple.

HOW IT HAPPENED – COACH P
In the 400m hurdles, Alley ran 1:04.78, smashing her previous top mark of 1:06.41. Anya Sadowski took fifth in the event, just 17 one-hundredths of a second (.17 seconds) from a top-three finish.
In the other two event finals featuring Ducks, Claire Deatrick took seventh in the hammer throw with a top mark of 33.45 meters and the 4x100-meter relay team of Alley, Isabella Shanley, Stephanie Ryzazanova, and Sadowski placed 8^th, running 51.59, the sixth-fastest time in program history.

HOW IT HAPPENED – DONAHUE
The team sent just three competitors for one event, the 5000 meters. Fiona Feerick was the group's high finisher, clocking in at 18:32.40, 14^th among D-III runners; Samantha Rozek was 28^th among D-III runners with a time of 19:34.41, and Jacqueline Lulaj ran 20:15.75, good for 41^st.
