York, Pa. – After the opening day of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Championships, the Stevens Institute of Technology women's track & field team sits in ninth place.
The Ducks have totaled six points through Day One. King's leads the standings with 21 points, followed closely by Widener with 20.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Stevens earned all six of its points with a third-place finish in the 4x800-meter relay. The quartet of
Isabella Gabay,
Taylor Enes,
Nina Burden, and
Isabel Vogel posted a time of 9:38.05 to secure the top-three finish.
Fionna Feerick led the Ducks in the 10,000-meter run, placing ninth with a time of 41:18.89—nearly 18 seconds ahead of the 10th-place finisher. Senior
Samantha Rozek took 20th in the event, finishing in 44:28.04.
In the hammer throw,
Ashley Muliawan placed 14th with a mark of 40.06 meters, while
Josephine Lulaj recorded a throw of 32.39 meters. Through five events in the heptathlon,
Stephanie Ryazanova stands in fifth place with 2,052 points. She earned 602 points in the 100-meter hurdles and added 614 points in the 200-meter dash.

Day Two of the MAC Outdoor Championships begins at 9:15 a.m. Events on Friday include the conclusion of the heptathlon, along with the high jump, long jump, discus, 3,000-meter steeplechase, 4x100 relay, 100-meter hurdles, 400-meter dash, 100-meter dash, 800-meter run, 400-meter hurdles, and 200-meter dash.
