YORK, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's track & field team remained in sixth place after Day Two of the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Outdoor Championships.
The Ducks held their position from the end of Day One on Friday, collecting 13 points on Saturday, pushing their total to 22.5, 1.5 points clear of DeSales in seventh, and at least 10 points back of the rest of the top six. York currently leads the pack with 61.5 points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ducks accumulated all 13 points across two events. In the high jump,
William Ladd set a new personal-best mark, clearing 1.91 meters (6 feet, 3.25 inches), tying for second and picking up seven points.
In the decathlon, the Ducks finished 6-7-8, totaling six team points.
Brandon Kiefer took sixth with 5,100 points,
Connor Efinger took seventh with 4,944 points (723 points better than his previous career-best mark in the event), and
Xavier McWilliams took eighth with 4,871 points.
UP NEXT
Sunday's events include the shot put, the triple jump, the javelin throw, the 1,500 meter run, the 5,000 meter run, the 4x100 meter relay, and the 4x400 meter relay.
