SHAWNEE, Pa. – Ben Slicker shot a 2-under 70, while the four other competitors for the Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team all tied for 12^th or better during Day One of the Middle Atlantic Conference Championships, pacing the Ducks to a 12-shot lead on the field.

Stevens finished with 295 strokes, Lebanon Valley finished with 307, Arcadia totaled 312, and Delaware Valley & Misericordia each finished with 316; no other team was within 25 strokes of the Ducks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Slicker birdied five total holes, shooting one-under on both the front and back nines.

Arav Tank shot 2-over, one of four in a group four shots back of Slicker in second, birdieing three holes and shooting even-par across 10-18.

Maxime Debets tied for 6th with a 3-over and Brock Dickson tied for 9th shooting 4-over, both birdieing two holes and posting 1-over on the back nine.

Sebastian Beaver tied for 12th posting 5-over and, like Debets & Dickson, shot 1-over on holes 10-18.

UP NEXT
The Ducks will look to clinch a fifth straight MAC Freedom title tomorrow, with opening tee time scheduled for 10:00 a.m.
