Bethlehem, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team saw their "B" team place eighth at The Northampton Cup on Tuesday.
The Ducks shot +29 (317), finishing four shots behind Lancaster Bible and five behind Swarthmore's "B" Team. Albright won the event with a +10 as Moravian (+11) and Susquehanna (+13) rounded out the top-three.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Bryce Karty (+5, 21
st) delivered the low round for Stevens at the Northampton Cup, carding a five-over 77. Karty played his most consistent golf on the inward nine, where he turned in a one-over 37 highlighted by a birdie on the par-three 12th and steady pars over his final two holes.
Alex Carey (+6, 24
th) followed closely with a six-over 78, opening with a two-over 38 on the front before adding a 40 on the back that featured eight total pars across his round.
Noah Eide (+8, T-29
th) contributed an eight-over 80, playing the back nine in three over par with a par on the par-three 16th.
Udyat Sarangdevot (+10, T-38
th) signed for an 82, recovering from a tough opening nine with a steadier back side that included pars on five of his final six holes.
Luke Snyder (+18, T-69
th) rounded out the Ducks' lineup with a 90, highlighted by a birdie on the par-three sixth.
