Hoboken, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's track and field team placed 10 total student-athletes on the United States Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Metro Region Team, including two who earned repeat selection from last season.
The top-8 individuals in each event from each of the 10 regions also used during cross-country season, as well as each member of the region's top-8 relay teams earned All-Region distinction.
The 10 Ducks were represented across two relays and five individual events, with one earning selection on two relays and one earning selection on one relay AND two individual events.
Maggie Previglian was first in the region in the high jump with a top mark of 1.67 meters set way back during the first weekend of December, a mark that eventually earned her an invitation to the NCAA Championships in Birmingham later this week.
Alexis Merola, who set the school record in the pole vault last year at 3.47 meters, earned her second straight All-Region nod in the event following a top mark of 3.20 meters at Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Indoor Championships the last weekend of February.
Isabella Shanley, who ran 57.50 in the 400 meters last February, the second-fastest time in school history, clocked 58.97 at MAC Indoors, earning her place on a second straight All-Region team. Shanley also earned All-Region merit in the pentathlon for a 2,957-point performance back in December that put her in third place in program history AND third place in the region this year.

Anya Sadowski, and
Isabel Vogel comprised the 4x400 meter team who ran a school-record 3:59.21 at the All-Atlantic Region Track and Field Conference (AARTFC) Indoor Championships last month.
In addition to the 4x400, Vogel earned All-Region as part of a distance medley relay squad that included
Isabella Gabay,
Taylor Enes, and
Madeline Bender, who ran 12:50.73 at AARTFC Indoors, the fifth-fastest time in the region this year.
Kaitlyn Adams rounded out the Ducks' All-Region contingent in the 5,000 meters. The junior ran 18:31.81 at MAC Indoors, nabbing the eighth and final spot while clocking a time that moved her to third in school history in the event.
