Harris Wins at -1; All Five Golfers Named to First Team All-MAC Freedom

Lebanon, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team captured its sixth consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference Championship, carding a +23 over two rounds to dominate the field.

The Ducks swept the All-MAC Freedom First Team, occupying all five spots atop the individual leaderboard. Arcadia finished second at +86, followed by Lebanon Valley at +89.

HOW IT HAPPENED
First-year Jack Harris continued his standout play, earning medalist honors with a tournament-best 4-under 140. After firing a 3-under in Saturday's opening round, Harris was the only golfer to shoot under par on Sunday, posting a 1-under 71. He recorded 11 pars on the day and went 2-under on the front nine, highlighted by birdies on holes two, five, and seven, before adding another on the par-five 13th.

Sebastian Beaver placed second overall at 8-over, closing with a 5-over 77 on Sunday. He notched a birdie on the par-five seventh and matched Harris with 11 pars in the final round. Arav Tank secured third place at 10-over, improving by four strokes from his opening round with a 75 on Sunday. He played the front nine at 1-over, birdieing the par-three fifth, and added another birdie on the 17th to finish 2-over on the back.

Ben Slicker finished just one stroke behind Tank at 11-over. He totaled nine pars and recorded his lone birdie on the par-five 16th. Competing in his first MAC Freedom Championship, Noah Eide rounded out the Stevens lineup with a 13-over 157. He recorded two birdies on the day, coming on the par-three fifth and par-five 13th.
