First Teamers Won and Mitloff Lead Seven-Player All-MAC Freedom Squad For Softball

Annville, Pa. – Isabelle Won and Allison Mitloff of the Stevens Institute of Technology softball team were both named All-MAC Freedom First Team, two of seven total selections for the Ducks to the all-conference teams, as announced by the conference office on Friday.

The third baseman Won and outfielder Mitloff were joined by pitcher Kyra Fischer, outfielder Emma Quattrochi, and utility Jessica Hsu on the Second Team, with Carmelita Murphy-Brown (First Base) and Isabela Lipsky (Non-Pitcher Utilty) both earning Honorable Mention status. Last year's co-Rookie of the Year, Mitloff repeats on the First Team, with Fischer and Hsu repeating on the Second Team.

Major year-end honors from the conference went to Lebanon Valley's Holly Grube (Player of the Year), FDU-Florham's Sydney Grifone (Pitcher of the Year) Lebanon Valley's Megan Heard (Defensive Player of the Year), Delaware Valley's Tessa Fredericks and Lebanon Valley's Miley Beachel (co-Rookies of the Year), and co-Staffs of the Year for FDU-Florham and Misericordia.

After finishing last season hitting under .200, Won hit over .350, including .379 in conference play in 2026, while committing just two errors in her final 39 chances at third base leading up to the postseason (a .949 fielding percentage). Won nearly doubled her slugging and on-base percentages while showing a tremendous eye at the plate, triking out just twice in 81 at-bats while drawing six walks.

Mitloff fell just shy of her 53 hits and .477 average from last season but still increased her run (27 to 31), RBI (15 to 20), walk (6 to 14), and stolen base (17 to 24) totals from last season. She also put together the team's longest hitting streak of the year (12) and finished second on the Ducks with a dozen multi-hit games.

Fischer set career-highs this season with 11 wins, a 2.39 ERA, and a batting average against of .253, all while allowing just two home runs among more than 500 batters faced. In the regular season finale, with the Ducks needing a win to reach the MAC Freedom Tournament, Fischer turned in arguably the finest outing of her career, going the distance while allowing just two hits and a walk in a 1-0 victory over FDU-Florham.

For the second straight season, Quattrochi started every game, hitting over .300 for much of the season, finishing the year at .298, with career-highs of nine extra-base hits and 15 walks. Additionally, Quattrochi wreaked havoc on the basepaths, setting a program single-season record with 36 stolen bases, which were:
  • 11 more than the previous program record
  • the most of any player in the MAC Freedom AND MAC Commonwealth
  • among the Top 25 totals from all of D-III
Hsu raised her numbers in several metrics both at the plate and in the circle from her All-MAC Freedom season in 2025. Pitching-wise, she raised her win total from seven to nine and her complete game total from six to 10. Hitting-wise, she raised her average from .327 to .330, her extra-base hit total from five to 11, her RBI total from 22 to 26, her on-base percentage from .361 to .380, and her slugging percentage from .386 to .491.

Murphy-Brown ranked among the Top 10 in the conference in hitting, finishing the year at a .416 clip in her first season as a full-time starter, including a team-high 15 games with multiple hits. Showing a remarkable eye at the plate, she drew 19 walks while striking out just eight times in 113 at-bats. In the field. Murphy-Brown was a vacuum at first base for long stretches of the season, finishing a dozen games with 10 or more total chances without committing an error.

Lipsky finished the season among the Top 5 in the conference in home runs, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage, with her seven home runs tying for the most in a single season in program history – her slugging percentage of .688 also put her third in single-season program history. She also finished first on the team with five 3+ RBI games.

The Ducks finished the season at least four games over .500 in conference play for the fourth time since 2021. The All-MAC Freedom Softball Team is nominated and voted on by the eight conference softball coaches.
