Louisville, Ky. – Stevens Institute of Technology first-year softball student-athlete Isabela Lipsky was named National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) All-Region IV Third Team (DP or Utility/Non-Pitcher) Friday afternoon following a superb 2026 season.
One week after earning All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom Honorable Mention, Lipsky adds the All-Region honor to her end-of-year accolades after a strong first season as a Duck. The Parsippany, N.J. native finished the season tied for the program single-season record with seven home runs with a 0.688 slugging percentage that put her third in program history. Her home run, slugging, and on-base percentage (0.491) totals all ranked in the Top 5 in the MAC Freedom.
Among recent program history:
- her 1.179 OPS was the highest since Samantha Schattin finished 2021 at 1.293.
- her 15 extra-base hits were the most since Jessica Guerrero had 18 in 2022
- her 64 total bases were the most since Meg Halloran had 72 in 2023
In the field, after committing five errors among her first 41 total chances of the year, Lipsky responded by committing just two over her final 38, including 19 straight chances without an error to end the season.
