Lexington, Ky. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's volleyball program again showed their prowess in the classroom, earning the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Academic Team Award in recognition for their extraordinary efforts in the classroom, the organization announced Thursday.
 
The Ducks have now won the award, given to teams who post at least a year-long 3.3 grade-point average on a 4.0 scale, every season since 2014-15. That 12-year streak is the longest in D-III (only Vassar with 11 has an active streak longer than six years) and the second longest streak in all collegiate men's volleyball, trailing only Harvard with 15.

Additionally, Stevens was one of just 12 programs across all NCAA and NAIA divisions recognized on the INTENT-Team Academic Award Honor Roll, which represents the top 20% of team GPA's in each division.

More than 1,400 collegiate and high school teams were honored with the accolade this year.
