Men's Volleyball cruises past Lehman in opening match of Stevens Invitational, 3-0

HOBOKEN, N.J. - The fourth-ranked Stevens men's volleyball team cruised to a 3-0 (30-8, 30-13, 30-18) victory over Lehman College in the opening match of the Stevens Invitational on Saturday at the Canavan Arena.

Stevens, ranked fourth in the American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) Division III coaches poll, improves to 6-1 on the season.

Sophomore outside hitter Chris Bock (Orlando, Fla./University) led the Ducks with 10 kills and just two errors in 15 attempts (.533) while playing just two of the three games.  Junior outside hitter Brian Woodworth (San Jose, Calif./Bellarmine Prep) had seven kills in 10 attempts.

No Stevens player played more than two games.  Thirteen different players saw action for the Ducks in the opening win.

The eight-team Stevens Invitational continues on Sunday with the remaining matches in pool play along with the semifinals and championship.
