Men’s Soccer Hosts Ithaca In Key E8 Battle

HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 2, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's soccer team (6-1-2) will return to Hoboken Saturday for a crucial Empire 8 Conference matchup with Ithaca College. 

MATCH INFO
Match time is set for noon at the De Baun Athletic Complex in Hoboken. 

LAST TIME OUT
Led by a pair of goals from senior Carson Pryor, the Ducks picked-up a 2-1 road win over Widener University Wednesday night.

SCOUTING REPORT
The Bombers enter Saturday's matchup with a 2-5-1 record, however both wins have come against E8 teams, putting them in first place in the conference. Brandon Thompson has been Ithaca's biggest scoring threat with four goals and an assist. 

10-FOR-10
The Ducks are currently riding a nine-match win streak against Ithaca, including a 3-0 win in last season's E8 championship game. 

DUCK DYNASTY
Stevens has won eight consecutive E8 titles, and hasn't dropped a match in conference since 2009. Additionally, the Ducks have allowed just two goals in their last 13 E8 matches.

HOME COOKIN'
Stevens is unbeaten in its last 13 matches at the De Baun Athletic Complex, outscoring opponents 38-3 in the process.

PRYOR PROWESS
Pryor's multi-goal game Wednesday was his fourth of the season, and ninth of this career. Pryor currently leads the Ducks with eight goals and 16 points. 

SHOOTING STARS
The Ducks have outshot opponents 56-35 this season, placing them third in the conference. Pryor, senior Colin Phillips, senior Matteo Sturla, and senior Joe Cellitti comprise the four Ducks who've recorded double-digit shots this season.
