ROCHESTER, N.Y. (NOVEMBER 2, 2015) – Senior Ravi Sun of the Stevens Institute of Technology men's swimming team was named Empire 8 Conference swimmer of the week Monday.
 
Sun notched four victories in the season-opening dual meet victory over Rowan University Saturday. The senior was the first swimmer in the victorious 200-yard IM relay team. The time of 1:33.32 was the fastest recorded to Division III this year according to collegeswimming.com.
 
Sun picked up victories in the both the 100-yard and 200-yard backstroke, winning the 200-back by almost five seconds. The Arkansas native also registered a victory in the 200-yard IM, tallying a time of 1:57.35.
