Men’s Fencing Tallies Three Wins

NEW YORK, N.Y. (November 22, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team topped the University of Maryland, the College of William and Mary, and the United States Naval Academy Sunday in MACFA matchups. 

Stevens topped Maryland 20-7 to go along with 23-4, and 22-5 wins over Navy and William and Mary. The Ducks lone loss came in a tight 14-13 battle with Johns Hopkins University. 

Freshman Justin Yu led all Stevens fencers with eight wins at foil, while freshman Gregory Milani and junior Benjamin Hughes went 7-0 and 6-1 respectively at epee and sabre. 

As a unit, the Ducks foil team led Stevens with 30 wins to along with 27 wins for epee, and 22 victories for sabre. 

The Ducks will host their annual alumni meet on Dec. 5 to conclude the 2015 portion of the schedule.
