HOBOKEN, N.J. (September 25, 2015) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team will host Houghton College Saturday in Empire 8 Conference play.

Match time is set for noon Saturday on the Stevens tennis courts in Hoboken. 

LAST TIME OUT
Propelled by a sweep at doubles, the Ducks cruised to an 8-1 win over Drew University Wednesday afternoon. 

SCOUTING REPORT
After starting the season 3-0, the Highlanders have dropped three of their last four to bring their record to 4-3. In conference, Houghton is 2-2 with wins against St. John Fisher College and Utica College.

INSIDE THE SERIES
The Ducks are 2-0 in their only two meetings against Houghton, winning by a combined score of 15-3.

MEET THE DUCKS
Senior Julia Guiganrd and sophomore Katrina Guido have been the Ducks best singles players so far this season, with each tallying identical 5-1 records. Senior Alexis Connor, junior Jillian Morneau, and freshmen Victoria Piskarev and Sydney Zoretic each have three wins.

DOUBLES TROUBLE
Guido and Zoretic have been a perfect 5-0 at doubles this season, with each win coming from the No. 2 spot. Combined with last fall, Guido is 16-1 in her career at doubles. 

LEARNING FROM EXPERIENCE
After dropping her first two singles matches of the season, Zoretic has rebounded with three wins in-a-row.
