HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 28, 2016) - The Stevens Institute of Technology men's basketball team (7-8, 3-4) will host a pair of Empire 8 Conference opponents this weekend in St. John Fisher College and Elmira College.
WEEKEND INFOFriday's tip against Fisher is set for 4 p.m., while Saturday's matchup will start at 1 p.m. Both games will be held at Canavan Arena in Hoboken.
SPECIAL EVENTSSaturday's game will be a part of #redOUT Alumni day, and all fans are encouraged to wear red. Additionally, Saturday will be senior day where the Ducks will honor seniors

Kevin Zychowski.

LAST TIME OUTDespite a double-double of 22 points and 11 rebounds from Lorenz, the Ducks fell last Friday to Nazareth College, 84-74 at home.
SCOUTING REPORTAt 12-4 (6-1), Fisher enters the weekend in first place in the E8 having won six of its last eight. Conversely, Elmira brings a 3-15 (1-8) record into action having lost eight of its last nine.
WIN-WINThe Ducks are coming off wins in their last matchups against each of their weekend opponents, including a 60-54 win last season against Fisher, and a 95-94 overtime win against Elmira earlier this season.
SENIOR SALUTELorenz leads the Ducks at 7.8 boards per game, while Zychowski has hit double-figures in scoring in five games this season. Lorenz leads the E8 in field goal shooting at 64 percent.

Chris Cosgrove has scored at least eight points in 12 of the Ducks last 13 games, and leads the team with 5.9 assists per game. The sophomore also leads the E8 in assist/turnover ratio.
ON THE MARCSophomore
Austin Marchese has seen his role increase in the last three games for the Ducks, averaging 11 minutes per game during the stretch.
