HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 28, 2016) – After nearly two weeks off, the No. 6 Stevens Institute of Technology men's volleyball team returns to action with a match Friday and a pair on Saturday.
MATCH INFOFor the second straight year, the Ducks will be competing at the Clash At Kean tournament in Union, N.J.. They will take on Marymount University at 5:30 on Friday, before taking on Rivier College and Lasell College on Saturday at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. respectively.
TOURNAMENT REWINDLast year at the clash, the Ducks topped both Lasell and Rivier before knocking off then No. 1 Juniata College in straight sets. The three victories propelled Stevens to the top spot in the AVCA rankings, en route to the Ducks capturing the National Championship last spring.
LAST TIME OUTIn the first match of the season, the Ducks dropped a 3-0 decision to No. 8 Rutgers University-Newark. The team rebounded to knock off the College of Mount Saint Vincent in four sets.
VINTAGE VAUGHANSenior
Chris Vaughan hoped to return to his 2014 All-American status, and in the first two matches of the season, Vaughan is tied for the team lead with 12 kills. Additionally, Vaughan is tied for club lead with three service aces.
DIAMOND IN THE ROUGHFreshman
Cooper Diamond is tied for the team lead with four total blocks, including one solo block.

Etan Bennett and junior
Ian Bennett each contributed against RU-N and Mount Saint Vincent.
Ian Bennett slammed home six kills against Newark, while
Etan Bennett had eight kills against CMSV.

Niko Lambert leads the club with 15 digs, including eight against Rutgers-Newark. The rookie also handed out three assists against the Scarlet Raiders.
