HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 4, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology field hockey team will play the first of four away from home Wednesday when it travels to New Paltz for an afternoon game.

LAST TIME OUT
Four different Ducks scored goals Saturday in a 4-1 Empire 8 win over Nazareth in Hoboken. Stevens dominated the tempo throughout the game, out-shooting Naz 34-4.
SCOUTING REPORT
At 7-3, New Paltz is coming off a 2-1 loss to No. 9 Rochester this past weekend. The Hawks have outscored opponents 31-16 this fall, and have five scorers who've recorded at least five goals.
WHAT A WEEK
Junior
Victoria Alvarez enjoyed a two goal, three assist week for Stevens to lead the team to a pair of wins. Alvarez had a hand in five of Stevens' nine goals, and tallied six shots on goal.

Leading Stevens' potent scoring attack this fall has been senior
Nolie Prouty and junior
Katti Thomasian, who've each scored five times.
STILL ON TOP
Stevens maintained its top scoring average this weekend, raising it to an E8-leading 3.5 goals per game.
