HOBOKEN, N.J. (October 7, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team will play its final match of the regular season Saturday at Elmira.

Match time is set for noon on the campus of Elmira. 

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens topped Hartwick 8-1 Sunday in a pivotal Empire 8 matchup. With the win, Stevens took over sole possession of second place in the standings.  

SCOUTING REPORT
Elmira is 1-11 including an 0-6 mark in the E8. 

FOLLOW THE LEADER
Senior Alexis Connor went 4-0 combined at singles and doubles last week to lead the Ducks to a pair of wins. Conner's efforts were rewarded with an E8 Athlete of the Week nod. 

IT STARTS AT DOUBLES
Stevens swept doubles for the sixth time this season Sunday, and fifth time in-a-row. Connor/freshman Isabella Calandra, junior Katrina Guido/sophomore Sydney Zoretic, and sophomores Julia Earl/Jill Hadwen are a combined 19-3.

SUPER SENIOR
Senior Jillian Morneau stayed unbeaten at singles last weekend with a pair of wins. The veteran has competed at third, fourth and fifth. 

WHERE THEY STAND
Stevens has clinched the No. 2 seed in next weekend's E8 Championship where they'll face either Nazareth or Hartwick. The two play each other Saturday.
