HOBOKEN, N.J. (February 13, 2016) – After topping No. 9 Vassar College Wednesday, the No. 6 Stevens Institute of Technology men's volleyball team returns to action Sunday taking part in tri-match.
MATCH DETAILSThe Ducks will take No. 4 Nazareth College at 11 a.m. before battling No. 2 SUNY-New Paltz at 1:30 p.m.
LAST TIME OUTStevens knocked off Vassar in four sets in the United Volleyball Conference opener Wednesday. The win moved the Ducks to 8-1 overall.
APRIL PREVIEWThe tri-match is one of the more anticipated matchups on the schedule this year across the country, as all three teams have the potential and fire power to be the last team standing at the NCAA Championship.
SCOUTING THE OPPONENTSNaz comes into the match boasting an 11-1 record, and are led by Jake Kemp who has handed out 401 assists. New Paltz is 8-2 overall and have five players with 60 or more kills.

Tim Ferriter is 12 kills away from 1,000 in his career, and 40 digs from 500 career digs. Ferriter spent his first two years with SUNY-New Paltz before joining the Ducks last year.

Scott Russell each notched double-doubles in Wednesday's win. Vaughan tallied 13 kills and a team-best 18 digs, while Russell handed out 42 assists to go with 10 digs.
DIGS ON DIGS ON DIGSStevens and Vassar combined for 121 digs on Wednesday, with Stevens going for 66.
BURRELL BLOCK PARTYSophomore
Thomas Burrell held a party at the net Wednesday, recording a career-high 12 block assists. The Ducks as a team recorded 17 total blocks.
