Men’s Tennis Looks To Continue Win Streak Against Brandeis

HOBOKEN, N.J. (March 11, 2016) – The No. 25 Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team (4-2) will look to run its win streak to four Saturday when it hosts No. 28 Brandeis University. 

MATCH INFO
The match is set to kick-off at 9:45 a.m. at the Washington Township Tennis Club in Washington, N.J.

LAST TIME OUT
Catapulted by a sweep of doubles, the Ducks won their fourth match of the spring on Feb. 28 in the form of a 7-2 victory over Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. 

SCOUTING REPORT
At 1-2, Brandeis is currently riding a two-match losing streak after falling to a pair of top-15 teams in No. 14 University of Redlands, and No. 2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps Colleges. 

MAKE IT 2
The Ducks are looking for their second win against Brandeis in as many seasons after a 5-3 victory last March at the Middlebury Invitational. 

UNBEATEN BEN
Senior Ben Foran is off to an impressive start to his senior season with a 4-0 record at singles, and a 5-0 mark at doubles. Four of Foran's doubles win have come with senior Matthew Heinrich

CONQUERING THE GRIND
Three of the Ducks four wins this spring have come against opponents ranked in either the national, or regional Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings. 

BALANCE
Led by four from Foran and junior Charles Drake, the Ducks single lineup features six individuals who have multiple wins this spring. 

RIGHT FOOT
The Ducks are undefeated in matches this spring where they hold the advantage coming out of doubles. 

DOUBLES-TROUBLE
Sophomore Kyle Henry and Danny Polk, and freshman Kyle Cenderelli and Drake have combined for four doubles wins this season.
