No. 15 Men’s Lacrosse To Battle Bowdoin

HOBOKEN, N.J. (March 21, 2016) – The No. 15 Stevens Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team heads to Florida to take on Bowdoin College Tuesday.

GAME INFO
Faceoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. in Clermont, Florida at the National Training Center.

LAST TIME OUT
The Ducks defense limited Haveford College to just two goals en route to a 9-2 victory over the Fords on Saturday.

TOMMY TWO TIME
Sophomore Tommy Dawson netted his second multi-goal game of the season against Haverford, scoring a pair of goals. Dawson also scored two against Tufts University earlier this year.

THREE STRAIGHT
With the win Saturday, the team extended its winning streak to three straight games. Senior Matt Ferentini recorded his third straight multi-goal affair Saturday.

THAT'S FAIR
Senior Tim Fair leads Stevens with 14 caused turnovers, including three against Haverford.

TOP OF THE TEAM
Senior Andrew Scrutchfield leads the Ducks with 18 goals and 25 points. Earlier last week against Trinity, Scrutchfield scored a season-high four goals while also recording two assists.

FRESH FACES
Freshman Max Bailey recorded three goals and three assists in two games last week, while classmate Carson White made 14 saves in two wins.

SCOOP 'EM
The Ducks hold a 258-208 edge in ground balls over their opponents this year, and boast a .841 clearing percentage.

SCOUTING BOWDOIN
The Polar Bears are 3-1 this year, and are led by Matthew Crowell, who has seven goals and 11 points. Peter Mumford is tops on Bowdoin with 39 saves.
