HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 11, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology softball team will play a trio of weekday road doubleheaders this week starting Tuesday at College of Staten Island.
THE SLATEThe Ducks start the week against Staten Island Tuesday at 4:30 p.m., followed by a make-up date with Ramapo College Wednesday at 3 p.m. Stevens concludes the week Thursday against Fairleigh Dickinson University-Florham with a 3 p.m. first pitch.

Emily Sellitti ripped a double off the right-field fence in game one Sunday against Elmira, driving in the winning run in the bottom of the seventh. In game two, the Ducks exploded for six runs in the sixth inning in a 6-3 win to complete the sweep.
SCOUTING REPORTStaten Island enters the week 9-5 and off a sweep over Brooklyn College by a combined margin of 43-0, while Ramapo starts the week at 13-5. FDU brings a 9-9 record into the week, and is led at the plate by Nikki Caruso's .536 batting average.
WEEKEND WARRIORSophomore
Olivia Gemma tallied five hits with five RBIs in the Ducks four games this past weekend. The dual threat also played a key role in the circle, striking out four in a complete-game win over Elmira College Sunday.

Brianna Sandone turned in her most impressive pitching performance of the season Sunday, allowing just one earned run while going the distance in a win over Elmira.
