Men’s Lacrosse Plays For A Cause Saturday

HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 22, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's lacrosse team will be hosting Elmira College on Saturday.

GAME DETAILS
The game is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the DeBaun Athletic Complex.

PLAY FOR THE CAUSE
The Ducks and Soaring Eagles will be participating in the USILA/HEADstrong Foundation Cancer Awareness week. All proceeds collected at the gate collection tables will be donated to the HEADStrong Foundation.

LAST TIME OUT
Stevens rolled to a 20-9 victory over Utica College on Wednesday, receiving goals from nine different players.

ELMIRA REPORT
The Soaring Eagles enter with a 4-6 overall mark and are 1-4 in the Empire 8 Conference. Skyler Pradelski leads the team with 23 goals and Anthony LaRusso is tops on the team with 11 assists.

MR. 100
Senior Connor O'Shea became the latest member of the 100 point club on Wednesday, as he tallied four goals and three assists. O'Shea sits at exactly 100 career points after the seven point outing against Utica.

LEWES NINE NINE
Senior Andrew Scrutchfield made it back-to-back nine point games, as he notched six goals and three helpers in the rout over Utica. Of the six goals, Scrutchfield recorded three man-up goals, a season-high for him.

LUCKY NUMBER SEVEN    
In addition to O'Shea and Scrutchfield, freshman Max Bailey also reached the seven point mark on Wednesday. The freshman scored three times while tying a career-high with four assists. Bailey has handed out four assists in each of his previous two games.

TOMMY…CAN YOU HEAR ME
Sophomore Tommy Dawson got the Ducks off to a fast start Wednesday, scoring two goals in the opening 3:55. The first goal came just 55 seconds into the game.
