HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 28, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology softball team (21-17) will close out its regular season Friday with a non-conference doubleheader at Hunter College.

Game one starts at 3 p.m. on Randall's Island, followed by game two at approximately 5 p.m.
LAST TIME OUT
Behind timely hitting and lock-down pitching, the Ducks upset No. 19 Moravian College 5-3 Tuesday before a 5-1 loss in game two.
SCOUTING REPORT
At 13-13, Hunter enters the matchup on a three-game CUNYAC winning streak. Taylor Crofts is the Hawks best hitter with 31 hits and a .369 batting average, while Sara Beck has been the ace in the circle with seven wins and a 3.71 ERA.
MAKING IT A HABIT
Stevens and Hunter have met each of the last four seasons where the Ducks have held the advantage, 6-3. The team's met three times last spring in the ECAC Championship.
WHAT'S NEXT
With Stevens' Empire 8 Conference slate completed, Stevens will await its postseason fate with the remaining games this weekend. The Ducks are competing for the fourth and final spot with Alfred University (7-5), who'll play second place St. John Fisher College Sunday.
