HOBOKEN, N.J. (April 7, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology softball team's doubleheader with Utica College has been moved to Friday, while the Ducks will play their regularly scheduled Sunday doubleheader with Elmira College.
WEEKEND INFOFriday's first pitch is scheduled for 3:30 p.m., while Sunday will start at 1 p.m. Each game will take place at Weehawken Waterfront Park.
RAIN OUTStevens' doubleheader with Ramapo College Thursday was re-scheduled to April 13 due to rain.
SCOUTING REPORTAt 10-10 (1-1), Utica is led at the plate by Nicole Rice (.323) and Alysa Russell (.273). Abby Monroe has been a force in the circle with five wins and a 0.91 ERA in 53.2 innings, while Brittany Meka is 3-1 with a 1.70 ERA.
Elmira brings a 4-2 (2-2) record into the weekend, and is led offensively by Maddy Johnson's .417 batting average. Pitching-wise, Marisa Bernardi is the teams ERA leader at. 2.76, while Katie McDougal leads the team with a pair of wins.

Marissa Cappello's lowered her ERA to a team-leading 2.90 after throwing eight innings over the weekend. Cappello leads the Ducks with five wins and 36 strikeouts.
