Men’s swimming unable to sink No. 10 TCNJ

  • Short Story: The No. 16 Stevens Institute of Technology men's swimming team earned four first-place finishes, but fell at No. 10 The College of New Jersey, 172-89, at Packer Hall Friday evening.

Top Finishers
  • Senior William Arnott earned the first victory of the evening for the Ducks, winning the 1000-yard breaststroke in a time of 9:56.47.
  • Sophomore Vincent Tavoletti earned first-place points in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 51:39, outtouching senior Austen Young at the wall.
  • In spite of the earlier narrow loss in the 100-yard butterfly, Young was able to claim a first-place finish with a victory in the 50-yard butterfly, finishing ahead of the field with a time of 23.16 seconds.
  • Sophomore Christopher Ludeke earned the final victory of the evening for the Ducks, winning the 200-yard individual medley with a time of 1:59.77. Ludeke finished ahead of freshman Chris Rudel by less than three seconds.
