How It Happened

After being swept at first doubles, Danny Polk and Michael Feldman suffered a hard-fought 8-6 loss at No. 2 doubles.
William Persson and Divin Sarthak had a chance to earn a point at No. 3 doubles, but dropped a 9-8 decision.
After falling in all three doubles flights, Polk and Henry each fell 6-1, 6-0 at first and second singles, as the Ducks fell in straight sets in six singles flights.

"While today was a tough match because we got outplayed, we were only a couple points away from taking a 2-1 lead in doubles," assistant coach Brian Maher said. "The final score does not tell the whole story, as each one of our guys battled on every point and left it all on the court! We will continue to prepare for the road ahead, and two conference matches coming up next weekend."
