Men's Fencing Walks Away With First Place at Army Invite

WEST POINT, N.Y.  (January 19, 2019) — Freshman Vaughn Rice led the Ducks with an 12-0 record as the Stevens Institute of Technology went undefeated to walk away with the first-place trophy at the Army Invitational in West Point, New York on Saturday.

The Ducks defeated Hunter College (23-4), University of Detroit Mercy (21-7), Drew University (22-5), the United States Naval Academy (17-10) and Cleveland State University (21-6), improving their overall record to 18-2.

  • Classmate Ryan Edelstein finished the day with his record of 8-3.
