NEWARK, N.J. (February 17, 2019) — The Stevens Institute of Technology men's fencing team went 5-0 at the MACFA Group "B" vs. Group "C" meet in Newark on Sunday and broke the program's record of most wins in a season, as the Ducks are now 31-3 on the year.
Stevens defeated Haverford (16-11), William and Mary (22-5), Maryland (24-3), Navy (21-6) and Johns Hopkins (14-13) on their way to making program history. Freshman
Wolfe Crouse led the Ducks with his perfect 9-0 record at epee, including a 3-0 sweep of Johns Hopkins.
Epee
- The epee squad went undefeated on the day, including 9-0 wins over Haverford and Maryland.
- Freshman Andy Faubert finished 7-1. The Danville, California native went 3-0 against John Hopkins.
- Freshman Tom Gana registered an 8-2 record.
Foil
- Sophomore Ean Weiss led at foil with his 5-0 record.
- Freshman Noah Ehrlich went 4-0, including the 14th victory over Johns Hopkins to give Stevens the win.
Sabre

- The Ducks travel to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Sunday, Feb. 24 for the Temple Invitational. Stevens will fence against Princeton, Johns Hopkins, UPenn, St. Johns and Penn State.
