HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 21, 2020) – For the fourth consecutive year, the Stevens Institute of Technology athletic department will celebrate the 34th annual National Girls and Women in Sports Day event on Saturday, February 22, 2020.

The entire athletic department, including administrators, coaches and student-athletes, are inviting girls AND boys ages 8 to 13 from the surrounding areas to Stevens' campus in Hoboken to spend time with current student-athletes and learn more about the history of women and girls in sport.
ThisÂ
FREEÂ event will run from 1:00 p.m. through approximately 3 p.m. and participants will have the opportunity to hear from female and male student athletes through an interactive forum and be able to play the different sports offered at Stevens with the student athletes. They are also encouraged to stick around for the women's basketball contest as the Ducks host King's College in Canavan Arena.
Although walk-ins are welcome, pe-registration is strongly suggested, parents can click

This year, participants can be dropped off in the lobby of the Howe Center, located on Stevens' campus, and pickup will be in the Schaefer Athletic Center lobby. Please note that a parent or guardianÂ
MUSTÂ be in attendance at drop off and pick up. Parents and guardians are welcome to stay for the duration of the program.
