HOBOKEN, N.J. (March 1, 2021) – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's and women's swimming team each released a 2021 competition schedule Monday. The calendar features four virtual events and builds towards the 2021 Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Championships in mid-April. Both programs' entire competition schedule will be held at the DeBaun Aquatic Center.

Paul Hughes. "While we have made the decision to compete virtually, knowing other conference schools are racing on the same weekends will provide added motivation. Despite the challenges, our teams are receiving quality training and will be fully prepared to test themselves in the coming weeks!"
The first two meets are event-specific, with the virtual relay meet kicking off the 2021 slate on Mar. 7. One week later, the sprint pentathlon meet will be held. Both races will begin at 10:00 a.m.
The first of the two virtual MAC meets follows on Mar. 21, with the second taking place on Mar. 27. The meet on the 21st gets underway at 10:00 a.m., while the final regular season meet kicks off at 3:00 p.m.
The three-day MAC Championship completes the schedule. Competing teams will follow the NCAA three-session championship format over the course of two or three days. The event begins on Apr. 16 and teams must have all of their events completed by Sunday, Apr. 18. The Ducks rewrote the conference championship record book one season ago, totaling 34 medals across both genders, which included 15 gold medals as conference champions. On the men's side, the Ducks set a MAC Championship meet record with 1,519.5 points in claiming their eight straight conference title. Isabella Fairman was named the conference's David B. Eavenson Award winner as its Swimmer of the Year.
Please note that all event times, dates and opponents are subject to change and fans remain prohibited from attending Stevens' home athletic events.
