From the Greens (Head Coach Charles Papendick)
  • "Although we didn't see the score we expected again, there are a lot of positives to take from our final fall event this weekend and the fall season as a whole."
  • "We introduced our first-year players to our tournament schedule, and of course, they had some growing pains. We also had some players make solid contributions this weekend, and throughout the fall, who've been on our roster for several years without consistent playing time."
  • "For a variety of reasons, our playing time was more spread out than in prior seasons. My hope is that the valuable experience gained this fall will pay dividends in the spring, when everyone comes back healthy and rested."
  • "Congratulations to Joss for his first competitive round at even par today and to Brian for finishing with his lowest competitive round. Our second team played very well today and that depth will be the key to our future success."
  • "Golf is so much more mental than physical and a positive attitude will breed greater success. I thank our players for their efforts through our most challenging fall tournament schedule ever and I look forward to the spring and a fresh start."

Up Next
  • Golf's spring slate, which includes the 2023 MAC Freedom Championship, will be announced later this fall.
