Box Score EWING, N.J. (February 17, 2023) – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team fell to TCNJ 9-0 Saturday afternoon to kick off the spring season.
The Ducks now fall to 1-1, having beaten Stockton in the fall. The Lions open the season 1-0. The Ducks are now 0-6 all-time against the Lions
The visitors were unable to pick up a victory in doubles to start the day. The pairings of senior Polina Odintseva and first-year Lorena Piegas, along with junior Isabella Dona and sophomore Anya Sharma, each won five games in their respective matches.
Stevens was unable to pick up any victories in singles, nor did the Ducks win a set on the day. Odintseva came closest, as she forced a second set tiebreak, but was unable to come away with the set win.
