Mohnton, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team finished in 9
th at the Alvernia Fall Invitational Monday with a team round of 334 (+46)
The host Golden Wolves won the event with a team total of 310 (+22), three shots clear of Albright, four clear of Millersville, five clear of Lancaster Bible, and six clear of West Chester.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Among the 60+ competitors,
Noah Eide finished in a tie for 3
rd with a 3-over 75, one of just four players who shot 75 or lower. Eide played the back nine one-under, birdieing the par-three 11
th and par-5 18
th.
Udyat Sarangdevot tied for 26
th with a nine-over 81. The first-year birdied the par-five 8
th and par-four 16
th, playing the back nine just three-over.
Dillon Kim and
Alex Carey shot matching 89s, tying for 49
th. Kim parred six holes on a front nine he played just three over; Carey played the front nine at six-over, parring five holes.
Luke Snyder tied for 58
th posting 95, including a birdie at the 16
th.
