Fleetwood, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's golf team sits tied for fourth place following the opening round of The Moselem Cup on Monday.
The Ducks posted a team score of +28 (308), tying with Drew University's "B" team. Allegheny College leads the field with a +20 (300), followed by Franklin & Marshall's "B" team at +25 (305) and Arcadia University in third at +26 (306).
HOW IT HAPPENED
Maxime Debets and
Arav Tank led the way for Stevens, each carding a +4 (74) to tie for fifth place. They were joined in the tie by Dylan Kochis and Zachary Melzar of Allegheny, and Winston Thai of Franklin & Marshall.
Ben Slicker finished four strokes behind Debets and Tank with a +8 (78), good for a tie for 19th place.
Sebastian Beaver and
Brock Dickson also competed for the Ducks. Beaver shot a +12 (82), tying for 38th, while Dickson was one stroke back with an 83.
