Box Score Ewing, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team opened its 2025 campaign Saturday, competing in The College of New Jersey Doubles Invitational.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Ducks were competitive in the opening round, with Alix Dry and Stephanie Untermeyer narrowly falling 8-6. In the same round, the tandem of Gigi Arenas and Lorena Piegas was also clipped by the same score.

In second-round action, Dry paired with Kaylee Hobbick in an 8-5 setback, while Arenas and Julia Chiovitti dropped an 8-4 decision. The final doubles matches of the day saw Piegas and Hobbick fall 8-5, while Dry and Chiovitti were topped 8-4. In the lone singles contest of the afternoon, Marie Heitz was defeated 6-1.
