ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team was picked first in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom preseason coaches' poll for a fifth straight year, as announced by the league office Friday morning. The poll was conducted among the conference's six head coaches.
The five-time defending MAC Freedom champion, Stevens received the maximum 36 points, ahead of Lebanon Valley (28 points), Arcadia (23 points), and DeSales (20 points).

Stevens went 14-8 last Spring with a perfect 6-0 mark in MAC Freedom play, winning all six matches 7-0, extending the program's regular-season conference winning streak to 36 in a row, before posting a pair of 4-0 victories over FDU-Florham and Lebanon Valley in the MAC Freedom Championship for the program's 15
th consecutive conference crown.
Max-William Kanz was named MAC Freedom Player of the Year,
Dhaivik Chenemilla joined him on the all-conference First Team, while
Mihir Parcha (Second Team),
Samvid Andhare (Second Team), and
Johnny Haase (Honorable Mention) all earned all-conference recognition as well; all five return this season for head coach
Steve Gachko.
