ANNVILLE, Pa. – Stevens Institute of Technology women's cross country sophomore
Isabella Gabay was named to the Academic All-Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Team, the league office announced Thursday.
10 total student-athletes from the conference's cross country teams are recognized; student-athletes must have a fall semester grade-point average (GPA) of 3.20 or higher to be eligible for the award and nominated student-athletes are voted on by the athletic communications offices from the conference's 16 member institutions.
Gabay crossed the line 13
th out of 137 finishers at the conference championship race on November 1, helping the Ducks take fourth, following a start to the season that included a trio of Top-7 finishes during Stevens' first four meets.
The sophomore's season wrapped with a 20
th place finish (out of 192 finishers) at the NCAA Metro Regional Championship two weeks after MACs.
