Chester, Pa.. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's track & field team competed in four events on the first day of the Danny Curran Invitational Friday, setting a trio of personal bests, plus an all-time Top 10 program mark.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Kaitlyn Adams ran the 5,000 meters, finishing in a personal-best 18:27.56, the fourth-fastest time in program history in the event and first under 18:30.00 since the end of the 2018 outdoor season.
Catherine Bondi clocked 43:44.47 in the 10,000 meters, just 21 seconds off a Top 10 all-time mark, and a personal-best for the sophomore.
In the triple jump, first-year
Munachimso Nwadukwe recorded a personal-best 9.38 meters, just six-tenths of a meter off a Top 10 all-time mark.
