Box Score Ewing, N.J. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team fell 7-0 to The College of New Jersey on Sunday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Lions swept all three doubles flights to take a 1-0 lead into singles play. Alix Dry and Kaylee Hobbick were edged 6-4 at No. 3 doubles, while Wei-Wei Lai and Lorena Piegas dropped a 6-3 decision at the top spot. Stephanie Untermeyer and Gigi Arenas were knocked off 6-1 at No. 2.

In singles action, Kaylee Hobbick battled at No. 5 before falling 6-4, 6-3, while Stephanie Untermeyer was topped 6-1, 7-5 at No. 3. Lorena Piegas dropped a 6-4, 6-2 decision at No. 2, and Gigi Arenas was clipped 6-1, 7-6 at No. 6. Wei-Wei Lai fell 6-4, 6-2 at No. 4, while Alix Dry was defeated 6-3, 6-2 at the top flight.
