HOBOKEN, N.J. (January 29, 2016) – The Stevens Institute of Technology swimming teams will compete in their final home meet of the season Saturday against Hartwick College.

MEET DETAILS
The meet will begin at 1 p.m. at the Schaefer Center Pool, with a senior day ceremony beginning at 12:45 p.m.

WOMEN WIN
The No. 16 women's team is coming off a 146-116 victory over The College of New Jersey last Wednesday. Senior Elizabeth Heinbach grabbed three first-place finishes while sophomore Sarah Jurczyk picked up two wins.

MEN"S REWIND
The No. 11 men's team fell to No. 5 The College of New Jersey 158.5-102.5 in their last meet. Senior Ravi Sun took home four first place finishes (three individual, one relay), and junior Austen Young tied for first in the 100-yard butterfly.

RECORD FALLS
The men's 200-yard medley relay team broke the Schaefer Center Pool record against TCNJ. The team of seniors Sun, Joshua Lefeber, Tomasz Wolinski along with Young recorded a time of 1:33.51, which was better than the original mark of 1:33.92 set by Johns Hopkins University in 2012.

SCOUTING THE HAWKS
Hartwick men's team comes into the meet with a 12-2 dual meet record, and are coming off a 183-95 win over St. Lawrence University last week. On the women's side, the team is 7-7 overall, and also topped St. Lawrence 189-95 last weekend.

SUN KEEPS RISING
For the third time this season, Sun was named Empire 8 Conference Swimmer of the Week, and picked up ECAC Upstate region Swimmer of the Week. The Arkansas native was first in the 100-yard backstroke (51.74), the 200-back (1:54.41) and the 200-yard IM (1:56.14), while also leading off the 200-medley relay (1:33.51).

THANK YOU SENIORS
Prior to the meet, the Ducks will honor the seniors on both the men's and women's team. The women's seniors are Alexandra Borelli, Katlyn Christenson, Heinbach, Elena Piper and Jennifer Rutledge, while the men's seniors include Lefeber, Sun, Wolinski Dane Pilcher and Zach Pergolizzi.
