NEWTOWN, Pa. (April 23, 2024) – Junior Vivek Harinarayan from the Stevens Institute of Technology men's tennis team and first-year Alix Dry from the Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team have been named MAC Freedom Tennis Player's of the Week, the league office announced Tuesday.

It is the fourth weekly award of Harinarayan's career, while Dry earns her first-ever weekly award and the first for the women's tennis team this season.

Harinarayan went 4-0 for No. 42 Stevens, winning twice in both singles and doubles competition. Against FDU-Florham, he topped Ronald Duval in straight sets (6-1, 6-1) and then against No. 22 TCNJ, the junior beat Adrian Tsui, 7-6 (7-3), 6-2. In doubles play, Harinarayan paired with Andrew He to down DeSales' Christopher Gomez and Nicholas Ofak 8-0. He then paired with regular partner Aashi Kulakarni to top TCNJ's Aayush Kishore and Asa Wong 8-2.

Dry picked up a pair of wins in a 2-0 week for Stevens. Against DeSales, Dry posted a shutout victory in singles competition on line one, then paired with Stephanie Untermeyer for an 8-2 win at first doubles.
