ANNVILLE, Pa. – The Stevens Institute of Technology women's tennis team was picked first in the Middle Atlantic Conference (MAC) Freedom preseason coaches' poll for a fifth straight season, as announced by the league office Friday morning, in the annual poll conducted among the conference's head coaches.
The four-time defending MAC Freedom champion, Stevens received a maximum of 36 points, five points clear of Lebanon Valley, whom the Ducks beat 4-0 in last year's MAC Freedom Championship. 2024 Finalist Misericordia was a distant third with 23 points, two clear of Arcadia.

Stevens extended their regular season conference winning streak to 26 last year after a 6-0 MAC Freedom campaign in which they conceded just a single team point, then knocked off Arcadia and Lebanon Valley (both 4-0) to earn the MAC Freedom crown. The Ducks added an NCAA Tournament win for the fourth straight year, sweeping Scranton, 4-0.
