HOBOKEN, N.J. (November 30, 2020) – Under the leadership of current Director of Athletics Russell Rogers, who just completed his 20th year in the position, the Stevens Institute of Technology Department of Athletics has risen to unprecedented levels of success.

Under Rogers' leadership, Stevens has finished inside the top 45 in the DIII College Directors' Cup standings 11 consecutive years including a program-best 13th-place finish in both 2010-11 and 2015-16. The Ducks also won the Jostens Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Institution of the Year Award in both 2007-08 and 2012-13, while also finishing as the Collegiate Athletic Administrators of New Jersey DIII Cup Winner in seven of the last 10 years.

The week of November 30-December 4
Nov. 30, 2008 – Dudek Nearly Registers Triple-Double; Named Tournament MVP
Hall of Famer Dani Dudek started her senior campaign out with a bang as she led the Stevens women's basketball team to the Red Hawk/Pioneer Classic title with a 76-73 win over William Paterson University. Dudek finished as the tournament's MVP thanks to a 16-point, 12-assist, nine-rebound performance.

Dudek's 12 assists tied her own program record for single-game assists that she had set three previous times in her career. For reference, only one women's basketball student-athlete has registered double-digit assists in the last decade (Allie Moss had 10 on Jan. 8, 2020 against Delaware Valley). All five Stevens starters scored in double figures in the victory, including Paige Armstrong who finished with a solid 15 points to go along with 15 rebounds.

Since Dudek's departure after the 2008-09 season, no Stevens women's basketball student-athlete has registered a triple-double in a single game. Dudek had five triple-doubles in her career, the most of any player in program history.
