DiMaria broke a record that he previously held in the 300-meter dash with a final time of 35.34 and placed third out of a field of 43 runners. He bested his previous record-time of 35.57 seconds he set in 2018 in the same event.
Mathews, meanwhile, made a huge splash in her collegiate debut as she broke program record in the 60-meter hurdles, posting a time of 8.95 seconds to shatter the previous record of 9.26 seconds that had stood since 2014. Mathews won the race and topped a number of Division I runners in doing so.

Matt Skrelja notched 16 and
Evan Klimchak added 14. Trailing by two with less than 10 seconds remaining in regulation, Skrelja hit a layup to tie the contest and send it to overtime.
In the extra period, Stevens was nails from the free-throw line as they went 6-for-7 from the charity stripe in OT compared to an 0-for-3 effort from NYU. Sabatino and Skrelja both hit a pair of free throws with less than 12 seconds remaining to seal the win.

Marks, a two-time Skyline Conference Player of the Year, helped Stevens to a 21-2-1 overall record in 2004 and helped the Ducks win a second straight Skyline championship. He finished the season with 13 goals, including 10 goals in his final 10 games of the regular season. Marks was a third team selection in 2003 as well.

Stevens led by as many as 21 in the contest as the three-game win streak helped jump start a season where the Ducks advanced to the Skyline Conference Championship game.
Cruz finished the 2003-04 season with 500 total points and averaged 18.5 points per game which both still rank as the most in single-season program history.

Two years later, the men's volleyball team became the first program in the history of the institution to win an NCAA Championship and was able to do so in front of its home crowd as a result of this announcement. The Ducks toppled Springfield College 3-0 in the championship match to make history.
